PigTails for GARMIN, TQ & funke – when Plug & Play is not possible

PigTail SD-GENERIC to GARMIN GTR225 / TQ TY96/97

Not every radio allows a PnP adapter – that’s why we have responded to your requests.

Many of you also wanted to use our adapters with Mounting trays (GARMIN/TQ) or Binder bushings (funke) – but the plug-and-play adapters do not fit here.
This is due to design reasons, as an adapter simply does not fit between a socket permanently installed in the mounting tray and the plug of the radio.

The solution: PigTails – tailored to individual wiring requirements to to easily solve complex installation situations.

Available now:

Dual Source Adapter now available – use SkyDemon & EFIS simultaneously!

Dual source versus single source

We listened to you: Our new adapters are here!

We call it Dual source.

Many pilots have asked us: “Can I use SkyDemon even though my EFIS is already connected to the radio?” – From now on the answer is: Yes, you can!

Our new Dual Source Adapter enable exactly that:

➡️ SkyDemon / Sky-Map / VFRnav / XCsoar – integration via Bluetooth®

➡️ continue to use the existing EFIS connection

Regardless of whether Garmin G3X, Dynon SkyView, Nesis or other systems – through the Dual-source principle The existing data line is split by the adapter, and the data from the second source is mixed in. No reprogramming or configuration required.

Based on customer feedback developed, tested and improved – for maximum flexibility in the cockpit.

SD-Link now also for the uAvionix AV-30 MFD – visualize navigation data directly from SkyDemon on the HSI!

Bluetooth adapter for uAvionix AV-30 MFD

We are pleased to present another highlight in the SD-Link portfolio:

The new SD-Link adapter for the uAvionix AV-30 Multi-Function Display (MFD) is here!

With this adapter, navigation data for the autopilot can be transferred from SkyDemon via Bluetooth Low Energy (BLE) Display directly on an AV-30 MFD – without any manual input or complicated wiring. This transforms the AV-30 into a SkyDemon-synchronized HSI display, displaying the planned course line, course deviation, name, and distance to the next waypoint.

Advantages at a glance:
✅ Plug-and-play solution for AV-30
✅ Navigation data transmission of the active leg via Bluetooth BLE directly from SkyDemon
✅ Consistent display of the real situation and the planning – simple and precise
✅ Compact design, easy retrofitting
✅ combinable with uAvionix AV-Link

SD-Link ATR833 Bluetooth adapter – now also available in angled version!

Angled SkyDemon Bluetooth Adapter for funke ATR833 radios

We are pleased to introduce a new version of our proven SD-Link ATR833 Bluetooth adapter: the angled Version!

Especially when space is limited behind the radio, as is the case with many ATR833 installations, a space-saving solution is required.
To ensure optimal adaptation to the different radio devices To enable this, we now offer two options:

  • SD-ATR833-A-LEFT – The front Sub-D connector widens downwards
  • SD-ATR833-A-RIGHT – The front Sub-D connector tapers downwards
