TRIG TY91/TY92 Bluetooth adapter – with SD-Link solutions, you can seamlessly connect your TRIG radio to your navigation app, such as SkyDemon or Sky-Map. For the TY91/TY92, we offer a plug-and-play adapter; for the TY96/TY97, the Universal Option (DS) and a pigtail for the mounting tray connection are available.
Connecting TRIG TY96/TY97 to SkyDemon – here's how
Do you want to send frequencies from SkyDemon directly to your TRIG radio instead of typing them in? For this you need an adapter between the radio and the tablet – which one depends entirely on the model.
For the TY96/TY97, the SD-Link is screwed onto the mounting tray ("screw-and-play"), while for the TY91/TY92 it is plugged into the TC90 control unit as an intermediate connector. Afterwards, you pair the adapter once with your tablet via Bluetooth and select the device type "Garmin GTR225 Compatible" in SkyDemon.
From then on, you can transfer standby and active frequencies with a single tap from the app. An existing EFIS remains connected in parallel thanks to dual-source functionality – nothing needs to be unplugged or replugged.
SD-Link TY9X
Adapter between TC90 and Sub-D connector – no additional wiring or mechanical work required. Standby/active frequencies are transmitted directly from the navigation app via BLE. Dual-source: EFIS remains usable in parallel.

The SD-Link TY96/97 is screwed onto the radio's mounting tray ("screw-and-play"). The tray is part of the standard TY96/TY97 installation – the adapter requires it.
TY91/TY92, on the other hand, are connected to the TC90 control unit; the tray plays no role there.
The plug-and-play adapters are simply inserted, not permanently installed – no modifications to the aircraft's wiring are required, and they can be removed at any time without leaving any residue. This is straightforward for ultralight and experimental aircraft.
