TRIG™ TY91 / TY92 (TC90) Bluetooth Adapter for SkyDemon / Sky-Map – SD-TY9X-E
The SD-TY9X-E is a compact Bluetooth adapterwhich is easily installed between the TC90 control unit and the Sub-D connector of a TRIG™ TY91/TY92 VHF transceivers After plugging in, you can You standby and active frequencies directly from the SkyDemon app via Bluetooth Low Energy (BLE).
As radio type you have to choose in SkyDemon “Garmin GTR225 Compatible” There is no separate device type for the TRIG TY91/92 in the menu.
The adapter also works if an EFIS (Dynon, G3X, etc.) is already connected to the radio! We call this feature “Dual-Source” (DS).
Heads-up: This is an adapter that is connected to the TC90 control unit and CAN'T can be connected to the radio module (25-pin connector).

- Compatibility: Designed for the TRIG™ TC90 VHF transceiver control head. Compatible with TY91 and TY92. Works with firmware 1.5 or higher of the TC90 control unit.
An existing EFIS (Dynon, G3X, etc.) can continue to be used. - Simple installation: The adapter is simply plugged between the existing cabling and holds securely to the housing thanks to two Sub-D knurled screws.
- Power supply: Requires no additional power supply. Handles board voltages up to 28 V. An integrated fuse provides additional protection.
