uAvionix AV-30 Bluetooth adapter — displays navigation data from SkyDemon directly on your AV-30 — SD-AV-30-E.
The SD-AV-30-E is a compact Bluetooth adapter that connects between the device without additional wiring or mechanical modifications. uAvionix AV-30-E Multifunction Display and the corresponding Sub-D connector is inserted. Then it transmits Navigation data Wirelessly from the app via Bluetooth Low Energy (BLE). The AV-30 thus becomes HSI (Horizontal Situation Indicator) and displays the name and distance of the next waypoint, the desired course, the actual track, and the course deviation (X-Track). The adapter is complete. AV-Link compatible — Both devices can be connected in series and used in parallel.

The installation was truly plug-and-play. I unplugged the AV-30, inserted the adapter, reconnected it, and then adjusted the settings on the AV-30. Since then, the instrument displays the course, distance, and position to the next waypoint. SkyDemon Yes. Especially in a small panel, it's a very nice addition.

I already had an AV-Link installed and was pleased that both devices could remain connected. The adapter sits behind the AV-30 without requiring any changes to the existing wiring. Navigation data from SkyDemon appeared immediately after the configuration was corrected.
