Universal Bluetooth adapter (Bluetooth-to-RS232, Dual Source) for SkyDemon, Sky-Map and other navigation apps — SD-GENERIC-DS.

For pilots with EFIS connectivity: The dual-source universal adapter transmits frequencies and data from SkyDemon or Sky-Map to your avionics— in addition to the existing data line, without disabling it . It uses Bluetooth 5.0 Low Energy; not an adapter, but a very compact solution for permanent installation ( 40 × 40 × 16 mm , 30 g ). Unsure if this is your model? Ideal for existing EFIS installations

Many aircraft already use a dedicated data connection between the EFIS (e.g., Dynon, Garmin G3X, Nesis) and the radio—additional Bluetooth integration often fails in these cases. With Dual Source , you disconnect the existing connection, plug in the adapter—and you're done. This allows you to use SkyDemon in addition to your existing system.

Do you also need a pigtail?

That depends entirely on your connection — if you have your own wiring harness with open ends, you don't need one. Otherwise:

funke ATR833 (PnP): directly compatible with the remote connectors of the funke cable harnesses BSKS833S(-S), BSKS833D(-S), BSKS833OE(-S), BSKS833GLS(-S) and BSKS833GLD(-S). For cable harnesses with Binder connectors, you need the PigTail PT-GENERIC-BSK833-1.

GARMIN & TRIG: GARMIN GTR205, GTR225, GNC255 and TRIG TY96/97 — each via the PigTail PT-GENERIC-OPEN-1 . The wiring diagram can be found here: SD-GENERIC-DS wiring diagram for GARMIN GTR225 and TY96.
