Our TY96 was already connected to the built-in GPS. With the dual-source adapter, I can also transmit frequencies from SkyDemon without interrupting the existing connection. Since the installation, both have been running in parallel without switching.

I use the adapter in the club aircraft together with Sky-Map. It was important to us that the existing avionics could remain connected unchanged. Installation was quick and the frequency transmission to the TY97 works reliably.

The TY96 in our aircraft was already connected to the panel navigator, so the standard adapter was not suitable for us. The dual-source version solved that neatly. EasyVFR now sends frequencies to the radio while the existing GPS connection remains in place. The instructions could be a little more detailed, but support answered my question quickly.

I installed this mainly for use with XCSoar. What I like is that it does not replace the existing navigation source — both connections remain available. Frequency transfer has worked every time so far, and nothing needs to be reconnected before a flight.

The TY97 has a built-in GPS on the board and there is no need to modify this installation. This adaptateur permet d'ajouter VFRnav tout en preserves the existing connection. Après quelques vols, je peux dire que le transfert des fréquences fonctionne très bien.
